2008 Graduation

On Sunday, June 22, Rosthern Junior College graduated 36 students. Congratulations to the class of 2008!

The day began with a Baccalaureate worship service at Rosthern Mennonite Church, followed by lunch and the Graduation Ceremony at RJC in the afternoon. The class of '08 sang 3 songs at the services "Ride On, King Jesus", "Kwaheri", and "Hold Me Rock Me".

The evening moved to Saskatoon and the Western Development Museum with the Grad Banquet for the graduates, their parents, staff and RJC board, (the grade 10s and 11s had their own "banquet" at a restaurant in Saskatoon, and joined the graduates later), slide show, coffee house and dance. Once that wrapped up after midnight, the entire student body was transported to a farm near Osler where they held "Fireside", an all night farewell hosted by parents of the grads.

We wish the graduates God's blessing as they make their way through life from this moment on.
