RJC on air?

The Media Studies and Journalism classes travelled to Saskatoon on Friday, April 24th to learn about the local media industry. We went on tours of: Rawlco Radio, CTV News, the Star Phoenix and CFCR-Saskatoon's Community Radio Station.
We learned a lot of different things, including what it takes to create a radio promo ad, what it's like to sit behind the anchor's desk, how the newspaper industry has evolved over the years and what it's like to be entirely responsible for hosting your own radio show.
It was a great day of exploring the media and journalism around us.

The classes tour Rawlco Radio with "Rambing" Dave Scarf as our guide. Here in C95's On Air Studio.
Matt Wiens on TV at CTV.

Taylor Epp interviews Lexi Chalus and Suzanne Luitjens at CTV.Camera man Dan Gretton.
Aspiring anchors Robert Regan, Derek Yamchuk and Rachel Klaassen at CTV.
