Grade 11 Spiritual Retreat

This year the grade 11s traveled to Shekinah Retreat Centre to explore the theme of Stewardship. Through presentations by Wendy Harder and Pastor Robert Koop, we learned what it means to be good stewards of the things we have been granted, in particular: time, money, and gifts. We also thought about what it means to be stewards of the land by going on a canoe trip and ecology hike. The students also got to share their many talents through a coffee house and camp fire. In all, the retreat was a great success and we learned more about each other and what it means to wisely use what we've each been given.Erik Epp, Steven Tetreault paddle off with Spencer Russell pointing the way.
