Final Week Reminders

Students are busy studying and writing exams, and Wednesday evening is the official dress rehearsal for OKLAHOMA.  It has been a busy, exciting week already!   Just a few last reminders for you:

SCENT-FREE - RJC has attempted to be a scent-free environment in respect of those students and staff with serious sensitivities to perfumes, colognes, etc.   As we gather this weekend at the musical performances, at Rosthern Mennonite Church Sunday morning, and again in the gymnasium in the afternoon, we would appreciate your co-operation in not wearing scented lotions, perfumes. colognes, etc.   We have a number of students, staff, parents and alumni who will be on campus this weekend and who have extreme scent allergies.  Please help make this an enjoyable weekend for everyone.

The rest of the week will go something like this:

THURSDAY:
- Youth Night performance of the RJC musical "OKLAHOMA", beginning at 7:00 pm.  This performance is open to students and chaperones, youth groups, youth pastors and sponsors, and perspective students.  Admission is $5 (rush seating) payable at the door.

FRIDAY:
- Exams are finished by noon, and students pack and clean in the afternoon.  The 2011-2012 yearbooks are handed out once cleaning is complete.

- Public performance of  "OKLAHOMA" beginning at 7:30 pm.  Tickets are still available for Friday evening.

- 12:00 midnight curfew.

- All students need to have their belongings moved out of the dorms by 5:15 pm on Sunday.   The dorms are closed at that time.  Grade 10 and 11 students are bussed to Saskatoon for a meal together, and then join the grads at the Western Development Museum for the evening's celebration.

- Graduates and their parents travel together to the Western Development Museum, for the Grad Banquet which begins at 6:30 pm.

- All students (Grade 10, 11 and 12) are bussed to the Fireside location, following the celebrations at the WDM.  Parents need to pick up their student between 7:00-7:30 am Monday morning from the Fireside.

FOR YOUR INFORMATION:

- RJC 2012 CHOIR CD:  The Choir CDs will be distributed this week to those students/families who pre-ordered and paid.  They will also be available for purchase during the evening performances of "OKLAHOMA".
