- Wednesday, Jan 8, 7:45 pm - Girls' Midget Hockey @ Harold Latrace Arena Saskatoon vs Saskatoon Tornados.
- Wednesday, Jan 8, 8:15 pm - Boys' Midget Hockey vs Cudworth.
- Thursday, Jan 9, 6:00 & 7:30 pm - Girls' & Boys' Basketball at RJC versus Valley Christian Academy (Osler).
- Friday & Saturday, Jan 10 & 11 - Boys' Basketball tournament @ Saskatoon Christian School.
- Sunday, Jan 12, 2:00 pm - Girls' Midget Hockey vs Rosetown Redwings.
- Monday, Jan 13, 7:00 pm - Rosthern Week of Prayer Monday service held in the RJC chapel.
Please check with your child or the school before traveling to any of the above sporting events, in case of last minute schedule changes due to bad weather, road conditions, etc.
UPCOMING EVENTS:
- RJC WINTER THEATRE, Friday & Saturday, January 17 & 18, 7:30 pm in the Pit Theatre. The Theatre Arts Class will present four short plays and a Musical Theatre excerpt from "Matilda - The Musical." This is the final project for the class, and looks to be a very entertaining evening. Tickets are $10, and must be reserved in advance due to limited seating. Call or email RJC as soon as possible (306 232-4222 or office@rjc.sk.ca) to reserve your tickets.
- SPEND-A-DAY - January 17 &18. On Friday & Saturday we are opening our doors for youth from grades 8-11 for Spend-A-Day. We will start on Friday with registration and lunch, and end the event on Saturday morning with a delicious brunch from the cooks (which the whole family is welcome to attend). This year will be a bit different as it is running along side our Winter Theatre. All guests of Spend-a-Day will attend the Friday evening performance free of charge. If you or someone you know has a child who is interested in learning more about RJC and would like to Spend-A-Day on campus (attending classes, staying overnight in the dorms, etc), please visit the website for a registration form or more information. Forms need to be in by January 10. You can email val@rjc.sk.ca for more information.
- SEMESTER ONE EXAMS will be held the week of January 27-30. Friday, January 31 is turn-around day, and no classes will be held. Semester Two begins Monday, February 3.
- FEBRUARY WINTER BREAK, Saturday, February 15 to Sunday, February 23. Classes end Friday, February 14 at 3:00 pm and the dorms close by 5:00 pm (no supper served). Classes resume Monday, February 24, 8:30 am (dorms open at 3:00 pm on Sunday).
