Chapel Review Weekending May 9th

Chapel Report
Friday May 9, 2014

On Monday May 5, students prepared to host the Recycled Orchestra by viewing some videos that introduced the mission of the orchestra.  SRC staff leader Karalee Kuny also introduced the nomination process for the 2014/15 SRC/DC elections.  Returning students were invited to consider running for a leadership position for next year.
SRC members describe the duties and expectations of the various leadership positions.

On Tuesday May 6, Principal Jim Epp introduced this year’s ‘Record Setting Spectacular’ student fundraiser for the school.  Tuition only covers a fraction of the cost of education at RJC, and a significant amount of money comes from donations.  The student fundraiser is a chance for students to do their part, and to say thank you for all that others have done for them.  We can never thank our donors enough!

On Wed. May 7 and Friday May 9 grade 12 students Morgan, Jake, Josef, and Robert shared in chapel.  The grade 12 chapels continue to build community in the student body and always offer refreshing insight into the lives of the students as they share about their past and their hopes for the future.
