RJC Update May 27-June 3

EVENTS THIS WEEK INCLUDE:

Monday-Wednesday, May 26-28 - PE 20 Out-trip.

Thursday, May 29 - RJC Record Setting Spectacular.  The afternoon of May 29 is set aside for this fun event, where student teams attempt to "better" records set in previous years.  Challenges include a variety of individual and group activities which may require speed, agility, patience, quick thinking, teamwork and LUCK.  We appreciate your assistance as our students ask friends and family for pledges to support their teams and RJC.  Donations over $10 are tax deductible.   

- Friday, May 30 - Conference final Track & Field meet at Griffith Stadium in Saskatoon.  3,000 m races are Thursday after school at Dalmeny.  RJC has 23 students participating at this track meet.  Top two in each event advance to the Provincial Track Meet in Moose Jaw, June 6 & 7.



UPCOMING EVENTS:

- Provincial Track & Field Meet, June 6 & 7 at Gutheridge Field, Moose Jaw.

- Semester 2 Final Exams - June 17-20.


- Youth Night performance of "The Sound of Music, June 19, 7:00 pm.  This performance is open to students and chaperones, youth groups, youth pastors and sponsors, and perspective students.  Admission is $5 (rush seating) payable at the door.  Please contact Val White (val@rjc.sk.ca) or the RJC Office if you want to bring a youth group or perspective students to this performance.


- RJC MUSICAL performances of "The Sound Of Music", June 20 & 21.  All seats are numbered and must be reserved in advance ($15 each).   


- RJC GRADUATION DAY, Sunday, June 22.  Baccalaureate Service at Rosthern Mennonite Church (10:30 am), Graduation Exercises at RJC (2:30 pm).  Everyone welcome.
