EVENTS THIS WEEK INCLUDE:
- Thursday, May 31, 1:00 pm - RJC STUDENT FUNDRAISING EVENT. RJC students will participate in the Record Setting Spectacular as a fundraiser towards student activities (class retreats, athletics, fine arts and the school yearbook). An afternoon is set aside for this fun event, where teams attempt to "better" records set in previous years. Challenges include a variety of individual and group activities which may require speed, agility, patience, quick thinking, teamwork and LUCK. Who knows…..we may even set an actual world record! Money raised by the Record Setting Spectacular is tax deductible (donations of $10 or more).
- Thursday, May 31, 5:30-6:30 pm - CTV News is coming to Rosthern for the day to film the "Our Home Town" segment for the 6:00 pm CTV News. As part of these celebrations, the town has invited the community (including RJC students) to a free BBQ and free swim in the park from 5:30 to 6:30 pm. Catch the 6:00 pm news and you may see an RJC student or two.
