Chapel Report Fri. Jan. 11, 2013

RJC students celebrated Epiphany during their first chapel back in the New Year on Thurs. Jan. 3.  English teacher Larry Epp shared in chapel the following day with a poetic rendering of his exploration of our Psalm 23 inspired chapel theme “I Shall Not Want”.  Principal Jim Epp shared his views on the theme on Monday Jan. 7 .

On Wed. Jan. 9 two grade 12 students, Crystal Lau and Kelsey Cancade, shared in chapel focusing on where they are from and where they hope to be going in the future.

On Friday Jan. 11 the SRC got into the spirit of this year’s fundraiser for Guatemala and auctioned themselves in the “SRC Non-Unionized Workers Auction Sale”.  SRC students agreed to carry books, serve lunch, and perform other stated duties for the highest bidder.  A total of $250 was raised which will be added to the current total of over $900.  All proceeds will go to support MCC Guatemala and projects that will be visited by our students during ALSO week.

Ryan display the total amount of money raised so far.

Nicole is auctioned to the highest bidder.  Nicole offers to help students with their homework.
