Chapel Report
Friday December 6,
2013
Science teacher Adam
Ens got personal in his chapel on Mon. Dec. 2 and helped students explore their
‘love language’. Adam encouraged
students to remember that each person receives and expresses love in different
ways, and we need to be sensitive to one another’s love languages.
RJC students had an
opportunity to get a jump on some Christmas shopping on Wed. Dec. 4 when a
traveling 10,000 Villages Christmas sale visited our campus.
10,000 Villages is a
fair-trade gift shore, which features many products made in the developing
world. Store manager Carol
Reimer-Wiebe shared about the importance of fair-trade in chapel before
students began their shopping. Buy
fair trade; it’s the gift that gives twice! Students took her message to heart as over $1400 in
sales were recorded!
Advent chapels
continued on Friday Dec. 6 with the lighting of the third candle. The Faith and Life Committee performed
some skits to put the student body in the Christmas spirit.
