Chapel Report
Friday Oct. 11,
2013
Local storyteller Ric
Driediger shared in chapel on Mon. Oct. 7. He told the story of the parable of the tenants and
creatively imagined a sequel in which he challenged to student body to share
what they have been given with others.
This was a fitting theme for the Thanksgiving week.
The Christian College Tour made its annual stop in chapel this week. The tour represents the Bible Colleges of Saskatchewan and encourages students to consider Bible College as a post-secondary option. The students enjoyed the worship music and being able to enter their names in all of the schools’ draws!
On Oct. 9 the Faith and Life Committee
planned a chapel where students sang, prayed, and wrote items they were
thankful for on colourul turkey cutouts.
These papers were used as table decorations during the thanksgiving meal
at lunch, and were a great reminder of what God has provided.
On Oct. 10 Kenna and Kathleen
lead the student body in chorus music and Ryan Wood shared a thanksgiving
message and coordinated some Thanksgiving themed group activities during the
final chapel before the Thanksgiving break.
