RJC Update Nov 26-Dec 3

EVENTS THIS WEEK INCLUDE:

- Wednesday, Nov 27, 9:30 pm - Girls' Midget Hockey game vs Saskatoon Cyclones at Harold Latrace 2 Arena, Saskatoon.  

- Thursday, Nov 28 - Deeper Life Days at RJC.

- Saturday, Nov 30, 7:00-9:00 pm - RJC Youth Night Take Over at Mount Royal Mennonite Church, Saskatoon.

- Sunday, December 1, 11:00 am - Chorale will participate in the Sunday Worship Service at Aberdeen Mennonite Church, Aberdeen.

- Sunday, Dec 1, 2:00 pm - Girls' Midget Hockey game vs Saskatoon Lightning at Rosthern Arena.

- Sunday, Dec 1, 5:00 pm - Boys' Midget Hockey game at Shellbrook.

- Sunday, Dec 1, 7:00 pm - Chorale will participate in the Rosthern Community Carol Festival at Rosthern Mennonite Church.

- Monday, Dec 2 - Grade 12 students will have Grad portraits taken at RJC by Lifetouch Photographers.  

- Tuesday, Dec 3, 6:00 & 7:30 pm - Girls' and Boys' Basketball games at RJC vs Saskatoon Christian School  (girls at 6:00 pm, boys at 7:30 pm).

NOTE:  We will try to notify parents of any changes in game schedules due to weather related issues, but please check with your child or the RJC office before traveling to games in case of last minutes cancellations.

UPCOMING EVENTS:

- RJC HOME BASKETBALL TOURNAMENT, December 6 & 7.  

- RJC CHOIR CONCERT - Sunday, December 15, 7:30 pm at Knox United Church (838 Spadina Crescent East, Saskatoon).  Featuring the RJC Chorale and Women's Choir, with guest performers SONRISA.  Free admission - a collection will be taken during the concert.  Everyone is welcome!

- RJC CHRISTMAS CONCERT - Friday, December 20, 7:00 pm at RJC, featuring the RJC Concert Choir, Chorale and Women's Choir.  Free admission - a collection will be taken during the concert.  Everyone is welcome to join us for the concert and refreshments to follow.  

- CHRISTMAS HOLIDAYS - Saturday, December 21 to Sunday, January 5, 2014.   Dorms close Friday evening following the Christmas Concert, and re-open Sunday, January 5 at 3:00 pm.  Classes resume Monday, January 6, 8:30 am.  

- RJC ALUMNI BASKETBALL, HOCKEY & CHOIR WEEKEND, January 3 & 4, 2014.  Basketball, hockey and singing are once again the featured components of the Alumni Tournament of Memories weekend.  Come join in the fun with other alumni  and friends.   Contact Denelda Fast to register for a team (deneldafast@hotmail.com) so that teams & draws can be made up in advance.
